There are many advantages for Rivet type, Hopper Feed T Nuts compared with traditional 4 prong T Nuts.
First, the Hopper Feed T Nuts have a counter bore which is used to flare the top of the T Nuts over the wood so that the Nuts could be used as a rivet. A hammer is not used anymore to install the T Nuts into the material, a machine is needed.
Second, common 4 prong T Nuts have round base normally. But for Counter Bore Rivet T Nuts, the base is square which make them to stand in a line on the machine and could be easily inserted into the wood. It could save much more time.
Third, There are 2 teeth on the hopper feed which allow them have higher retention than a standard T Nuts.
The Rivet T Nuts also has a lead to align bolts for improved thread engagement. Counter bore depth could be varied to customers specification, for more accurate technical data. Please contact with our sales.
